On July 4, 2012, it will be time to show your American pride and spirit with Catonsville’s 66th Annual Independence Day Celebration. Don’t forget to wear your red, white, and blue and show your love of country and your pride in the men and women who defend it by enjoying this fun-filled Catonsville tradition!

9:30 a.m.	Decorated Bike Contest, Lollipop Scramble, Quarter Hunt, Ball on Spoon Race, Shoe Scramble, Leapfrog, Wheelbarrow and Sack Races, Water Balloon Toss for all ages. Prizes for the winners!! 3:00 p.m.	66th Annual Grand Parade Get out your chair and watch the grand parade featuring 12 marching bands. Parade will be held rain or shine.	Starts at Frederick Road and Montrose Avenue, proceeds east on Frederick Road to Bloomsbury Avenue, south on Bloomsbury Avenue to the Community Center.
6:30 p.m.	Fireworks Family Fun Fest Avoid the traffic and bring the family to the fireworks early for an evening of fun. Enjoy live music featuring the rock and roll sounds of The School of Rock. A dozen food vendors will provide fun foods including Nathan’s hot dogs, Frito pies, snowballs and drinks. No long lines this year! Read more about the Fireworks Family Fun Fest.
