Day to feature bike ride to Ft. McHenry, signature parade and fireworks.
CATONSVILLE, Md. — Weeks ago, chairs started appearing along Frederick Road in Catonsville, as neighbors mark their spots for the upcoming Independence Day parade.
The annual 4th of July celebration in Catonsville is more than just a parade – it’s a day-long event which includes a bike ride, games, live music and a ‘mammoth’ fireworks display.
Since 1947, a dedicated group of volunteers plan for every detail of this annual tradition and they love doing it. One member, Tom Connor, has been a member for over 50 years! Support the work of the Catonsville 4th of July Committee by making a donation and keep this tradition alive for future generations.
