Catonsville residents love Fourth of July. The parade is so popular, residents put out their chairs a month ahead of time. Catonsville offers 14 hours of fun for all ages. The Committee Continues to work toward having a full celebration in 2023.

8:30 a.m. 8th
Annual CRTT Bike Ride to Ft. McHenry

Meet at Atwater’s Bakery, 815 Frederick Road and join a group of cyclist who will go to Ft. McHenry and back.  Wear something Red, White and Blue!

9:30 a.m.
Kid’s Games (2-13 years)

Thanks to the Catonsville Men’s Civic Association, Catonsville Recreation and Parks, and Association of Government Accountants.

Catonsville High School Athletic Fields (Valley Rd. and South Rolling Road)

Decorated Bike Contest, Lollipop Scramble, Quarter Hunt, Ball on Spoon Race, Shoe Scramble, Leapfrog, Wheelbarrow and Sack Races, Water Balloon Toss for all ages. Prizes for the winners!! All kids who decorate bikes are encouraged to ride in parade at 3 p.m.

Boys and girls events to be divided among children in four age groups; 2–3 years, 4–6 years, 7–9 years, 10–13 years. Sponsored by the Catonsville Men’s Civic Association, Catonsville Recreation and Parks and Association of Government Accountants Catonsville High School Grounds (corner of Rolling and Valley Roads).

Christian Temple Concert, 5820 Edmondson Ave.

Each year as part of the July 4th festivities, the Christian Temple invites residents to a community concert at their church at 11:00 a.m. Enjoy a variety of American music performed by a talented pool of singers and musicians. 77th Annual Grand Parade

Get out your chair and watch the grand parade featuring 12 marching bands. Parade will be held rain or shine. Starts at Frederick Road and Montrose Avenue, proceeds east on Frederick Road to Bloomsbury Avenue, south on Bloomsbury Avenue to the Community Center.  Get out your chair and watch the grand parade featuring marching bands including the Ravens Marching Band.  Parade will be held rain or shine.

Fireworks Family Fun Fest

Catonsville High School Athletic Fields (Valley Rd. and South Rolling Road)

Bring your blanket and stake out a spot early!  Music will be provided by Mallow Hill which is a local band and all members are from CATONSVILLE. Our title sponsors, State Fare, The Beaumont and El Guapo have sponsored Maryland Native and now Nashville Country Singer Jimmy Charles who will be preforming his new hit  “It’s a Maryland Thing.”  Rumor is this song is becoming the “Maryland Anthem.”  We will have Food Trucks at Valley Road parking lot as well as at various locations along Hilltop and on Bloomsbury.
